Borders Cleared to Play

University of North Carolina football coach Carl Torbush said that sophomore wide receiver Chesley
Borders is again eligible to play in games after taking care
of a legal matter. Borders was charged with resisting arrest
and littering after receiving a speeding ticket on campus on
August 30.

Borders apologized to the officer and paid the court costs
and fine associated with the speeding ticket. In exchange
for the apology and the fines, the charges of resisting
arrest and littering were dropped.
