Leon Johnson Arrested

Former Tar Heel runner Leon Johnson was among 11 people arrested in Iowa City, Iowa, after failing to leave the scene of a fight. The Morganton, N.C., native was charged with disobeying police and not leaving the scene of a fight following an altercation early Sunday morning.

According to the Associated Press, Johnson was released after pleading guilty to interference with official acts and paying a $350 fine. The New York Jets running back/kick returner was in Iowa City for a charity basketball game hosted by teammate Dedric Ward. Jets spokesman Doug Miller told the Associated Press Wednesday morning that the club was looking into the incident.
